McNair Scholars – Making graduate school possible

If you're a first-generation, low-income or underrepresented undergraduate student, the McNair Scholars Program offers research experience, mentorship, and support to help you prepare for graduate school. Over two years, you'll complete research projects, attend workshops, and present your work at national conferences and University symposiums while getting help with GRE prep and applications.

McNair Scholars Program Mission Statement

The mission of the McNair Scholars Program is to provide research opportunities and other related academic experiences that promote graduate school enrollment and the acquisition of a doctoral degree (Ph.D.) for first-generation, income-qualified, and underrepresented undergraduate students.
