Family Navigation Network

Nevada’s Family to Family Health Information Center for families who have children & youth with special health care needs.

At our core, we’re here to support families like yours as you navigate the often complex world of healthcare. We understand that caring for a loved one can be challenging, and we’re dedicated to helping you find your way. Our goal is to connect you with local community resources that can provide the assistance you need.

In addition to practical support, we offer a heartfelt network through Parent to Parent of Nevada. We believe that emotional support is just as vital, and our community is here to listen, share experiences, and provide comfort. You’re not alone on this journey—we’re here for you every step of the way.

What are you looking for?

No Nevada family should have to feel alone. Ever.

Caring for children with special needs and disabilities can be overwhelming, exhausting and complex. Often families and caregivers struggle to find the resources and services their child and family may need.

The Family Navigation Network (FNN) is a statewide project of the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities providing information, support, training and resources at no cost to assist families caring for children and youth with special needs. We are staffed by parents and family members of children with special health care needs and disabilities, so we know the journey.

We promote family-centered care and family and professional collaboration at all levels of health care. The FNN also has a strong commitment to promote and support the needs of families from racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse communities.

“You deserve some type of major award just based on the amount of care and patience that you have for panicking moms... I'm sure I'm not the only one. Sending you a GIGANTIC virtual hug!!!”
